The Chinese recaptured Kienteh, the main. Japanese base in Chekiang 65 miles south of Hangchow. Heavy fighting is reported, at Lanchi. 20 •miles, south of Kienteh. where the Chinese repulsed the Japanese garrison, inflicting 200 casualties. t LONDON, Julv 22.
