SINGLE INCOME TAX Federal Government’s Win lAv'-t & NZ Cah'« (Rec. 12.301 SYDNEY, July 23. In the most important judgment ever given since federation, the Full High Court, by a majority decision, held to-day fhat the Federal Government’s uniform taxation pmn is valid in its entirety.
The Court dismissed the application by the States of Victoria. South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia for a decree invalidating the validating acts on the ground that, they were beyond the powers of the Commonwealth Parliament.
