An endeavour was made -io have Beaulivrc’s ancestress, S’iipi'Key. included in the Australian stpd book, but the entry was remsed. Although many Colonial lines are untraceable, but accepted tor .inclusion, in .the Australian 1 stud bool:, the. line pf, Sharkey is not one , ; of them. Sharkey and har descendants are,.,however, accepted by the New Zealand stud book. Any of Beaulivre’s progenev born in New Zealand will be accepted by the New Zealand stud book, and may be nominated for and race in the Australian Jockey Club Derby, but none df T his prdgency born in Australia could be nominated for the Derby.
