Havre Bombed OVER 60 CASUALTIES. LONDON. June 23 The Lyons radio reported that R.A.F. planes bombed the city of Le Havre on' Tuesday. Twenty buildings were destroyed. Twenty-seven peopte were killed. Thirtyfive were injured. There probably are more people under the ruins. E.O.W. RUGBY, June 22. The Royal Air Force, in a Middle East communique, reports: A successful attack on a large concentration of enemy transports on the side of the Azoiz landing ground, also a night bombins raid on Tmimi and Gzala, and on enemy concentrations south-east of Tobruk. Torpedocarrying aircraft, escorted by fighters attacked an enemy convoy in the Mediterranean. Two large merchant vessels were hit. One was left on fire. There was little air activity over Malta on Saturday and Sunday. One Junkers 88 was shot down. Eight of our ’planes are missing. One pilot is safe.
