TARGETS IN NORTHERN FRANCE. (Rec. 11.49.) LONDON, June 13. Fighter Command Spitfires this afternoon attacked gasholders and 1 industrial targets, and enemv communications at several points in Northern France. Near Etaples they saw their cannon fire hit a locomotive which exploded in a cloud of smoke. A goods engine and trucks standing on a side lane were also attacked. . Other Spitfires damaged two more locomotives and shot up a factory and goods waggons in a siding. Above Dieppe, R.A.F. fighters went twentymiles inland, where low level attacks were made on . a goods train ! engine, which was left stationary and enveloped in steam. < 1 ATTACK ON CONVOY. ! ENEMY AIRCRAFT DESTROYED. (Rec. 11.45.) LONDON, June 13. I •, An Admiralty communique states: It is now learned that during an unsuccessful, attack one one of our coastal convoys renorted on June* 11, two enemy aircraft were destroyed and possibly a third.
