DR. EVATT ON THE WAR
RETURNING TO AUSTRALIA. WASHINGTON, June 3. Hon. Dr. Evatt, Australian Minister of External Affairs and Special Envoy, answering questions here, said that he did not doubt the outcome of the war, in view Of the potential Allied production. But the. potential, he said,- must be realised, and theret must not be complacency. Dr. Evatt said: "There is an Australian force, under Blackburn, believed to be still operating in Java in the vicinity of Bandoeng.” Dr. Evatt said that he ig returnin; relatively soon to Australia.
