A WILLIAMSON PRODUCTION.

To-night at the Town Hall, beginning at 8 o’clock, and to-morrow and Saturday nights, and on Saturday afternoon, the Great Levante by arrangement with J. C. Williamson Theatres Ltd., will present the big London Palladium laughing triumph “Crazy "Show,” which has created a furore of enthusiasm wherever it. has been staged. There are 50 imported people in the company, including some of the best and funniest comedians New Zealand has ever enjoyed. A notable event will be the appearance in person of the brilliant and popular young ventriloquist, George Tollerton. who will present his inimitable and irresistible laughing feature “Chuckles with Jerry”. The Great Levante and his artists have been working on the production of “Crazy Show” for many months past, with the result that from beginning to end it goes like clockwork. The six specially selected' comedians. Messrs Ronald Shand, Robert Butt, Joe Valli, Lawrie Long, George Corelli and Ed. Edwards, have exceptional opportunities for the display of their talents for creating laughter, and they are now popularly known as the Crazy Gan°- The Great Levante is a whole show in himself, and during the evening he will present some startling and novel magic tricks, a “Talk with Chalk” feature and an amazing mind-reading act, which he performs with the assistance of Miss Fsmd Levante. Miss Doris Whimp proves herself a brilliant comedienne a <- the principal boy in “Aladdin and in “Crazy Show” she has better opportunities to display her talenU, particularly in the sketches and m her own features '‘Her Man.’ Miss Ursula Irving and Robert Butt aie heard in several song successes, including “My Hero,” “I Fell in Love With Love,” and ‘Play to Me Gypsy.” Miss Gladys Cole (accordion)', Miss Esme Levante (violin) Miss Elvv Ferguson (violin) and Gordon Girdwood (guitar), will present “Souvenir d’Ukraine and Two Black Eyes”, the singers being Ursula Irving and Robert Butt. Lovely ballerinas will be seen in. some picturesque ballets, the soloist being Mat garet Scrimshaw. The orchestra is ■under the direction of Gordon Girdwood Other features are the delightful stage settings and the gorgeous dresses. The box plans are at KilgouFs. There will be a change of programme on Saturday night and special feature for children will, be presented at Saturday afternoons programme.
