The following are the results of Basketball matches played at Greymouth over the week-end: — v First Grade: St. Mary’s A 17, Runanga A 8; Tech. O.G. A 14, ±ecn, A 11. Second Grade: Tech. O.G. B won from Cobden by default; G.H. Nurses 9, Runanga B 7; United A 12, Convent O.G. B 6; Tech. B won from Woolworths by default; St.-Mary’s B won from United B bv default.« In the annual Yankee tournament, the first grade was won by Tech. O.G. A with Tech. A runners-up, a.nd the second grade by United A with St. Mary’s B runners-up. Fixtures for the first round of the schools’ grade competition commencing to-day, are:—St. Mary’s C v. Tech. F, Main School, court 3,3.5 b p.m. (Miss U. Warren); Tech. D v. St. Mary’s F. Main School, court 2, 3.55 p.m. (Miss O’Callaghan); Tech. E v Tech. Fat Tech. School, 3.40 pm. (Miss Ray); St. Mary’s E v. Sr. Mary’s D, at Convent, 4 p.m. (Miss Hannan).
