WELLINGTON SESSION WELLINGTON, May 6. A jury in the Supreme Court today found, cn the evidence presented” to it, that Rakapa Nukunuku, 21, a Maori farm labourer, was incapable of pleading to Ihe indictment for the murder of Miss Mary Currie at Titahi Bay on January 28 last. Prisoner was ordered to be detained in a mental hospital, until the pleasure of the Minister of Justice was known. William Maxwell Sunley, 41, chemist, was acquitted on a charge involving the supplying of a noxious thing, and attempting to supply a noxious thing. Thomas Bailev Black was granted a decree nisi in an undefended divorce action against Annie Mary Black and Hector McDonald Cameron. on the ground of adultery, and was awarded £350 damages on his claim for £7OO against the co-re-spondent. In evidence it was stated that adulterv had taken place during petitioner’s absence with the armed forces in Greece. Of the damages. £5O is to go to petitioner, and the balance is to be kept in trust by the Public Trustee, for the benefit of the two children of the marriage.
