Many Casualties [Aust. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Rec. Midnight). LONDON. April 28. On Monday night, Norwich was a target .of. the Luftwaffe in England. Referrihg to the raid, the Air Ministry,. in a communique, states: Enemy ’planes on Monday night attacked an East Anglian town. There was widespread- damage caused. Many, casualties, resulted. There were a number of nres. Re- ; ports indicate that a hospital was hit. Streets of small houses suffered badly. Rescue squads are still digging in the wreckage this morning for trapped families.' ; ANOTHER PLAQE BOMBED. ' - AND MACHINE-GUNNED. (RecJ 11,20,)~~ LONDON. April .28. Enemy ’planes bombed a point in the south of England, from a low level, on Tuesday morning and started fires. After this, seven Messerslchmitts - indiscriminately machinegunned the area. '
