BIG LOSS OF COTTON
AT SOUTH AFRICAN PORT. (Rec. 10.30.) CAPETOWN. April 27. Cotton , valued £1,250,000 has been destroyed by fire at East London,- South Africa. The cotton was a part of the Egyptian cron purchased by Britain last year, and? it was awaiting shipment to Britain.
