MACHINE TOOLS & ENGINEERING EQUIPMENT CONTROL NOTICE, 1942. rpHIS notice as from 10th April, 1942, requires:— 1. That except with the prior consent of the Factory Controller, NO OCCUPIER OF ANY FACTORY, OR OWNER (within the meaning of the Factory Emergency Regulations, 1939) of any factory materials shall sell, dispose of, part with possession or control of, acquire, obtain possession or control of or otherwise DEAL WITH ANY METAL WORKING OR WOOD WORKING i MACHINE-TOOL OR ENGINEERING EQUIPMENT of any of the types, or for any purpose referred to in the Schedule . hereto, or any accessory commonly used in conjunction with them. 2. That ANY IMPORTER into New Zealand OF ANY MACHINE TOOL OR ENGINEERING EQUIPMENT of the type or for any purpose mentioned in the Schedule hereto to furnish within seven days of importation a description of same to the Factory Controller. 3. That EVERY PERSON INCLUDING .PRIVATE - OWNERS, owning, possessing, or controlling ANY METAL WORKING MACHINE TOOL of anj' of the types, or for any purpose referred to in Part A of the Schedule hereto, who HAS NOT PREVIOUSLY SUPPLIED PARTICULARS THEREOF TO THE MUNITIONS OR FACTORY CONTROLLERS shall furnish immediately to the Factory Controller, P.O. Box 3025, Wellington, full details thereef including:— (a) Typis and maker’s name. (b) Age and state of repair. (c) Size or capacity. (d) Whether equipped with self-containc-d motor and, if so, the horsepower of such motor. (e) Equipment and attachments held for use with the machine. (f) Class of work on which machine is being used. (g) Number of hours per week that machine is being operated. (h) Where located and name of owner. SCHEDULE.
