CEYLON’S DANGER

EVACUATION PLANS.

LONDON. March 12,

A Colombo message states that women and children and those without essential business have been advised to evacuate. The Press publishes a report from Ceylon of evacuation plans. Women, children, and residents not employed in essential war work are stated to have been advised to leave as soon as passages are available. The Colonial Office has been informed' of this order, which is evidently a measure concerned with the local defence of Ceylon.
