(Rec. 7.30.) CHUNGKING, Mar. 12. Official Chinese despatches report furious battles against Japanese forces, in the Shantung Province, North China, and at Siangshan Harbour, in the Chekiang Province. The Japanese have' landed great forces on the Chekiang coast. A severe engagement has been raging for two days in the sector south of Hangchow Bay.
