MARYLAND, AMERICAN FAST MEDIUM BOMBERS FOR BRITAIN: Among the bomber aircraft being supplied by America to Britain is the Maryland, manufactured by the Glenn L. Martin Company. It has two Pratt and Whitney R. 1830 engines, and is a low wing monoplane. Its undercarriage retracts backwards in the engine nacellos. It carries a crew of three. Span 61 ft. 4 ins., length 46 ft. 8 ins., height 9 ft. 7 ins. A Maryland bomber arrives at a British aerodrome.
