BIG RIVER GOLD MINES REPORT.
Big River gold mines report for December is as follows:— No. 7 Level Intermediate: —A total distance of 15 feet has been driven south on reef, which has averaged 24 inches in width. Dish prospects have disclosed that the ore is of good grade No.’ -6 Level Intermediate:—Th#' reef was followed north for a distance of 28 feet from the winze, at which point it narrowed in at the fae’e, although still showing in the roof. The last work done also gives some indication that the quartz is making again under foot. Main Shaft: —The shaft has been retimbered for a depth of 64 teet below the No. 7 level.
