IN CANTERBURY.

P.A. WELLINGTON, December 19. A R.N.Z.A'F. aircraxt, on a practice flight, crashed at Yaldhurst, in the friicihity of this afternoon, and an airman pilot, under training, was killed. The l airman

pilot', who was the sole'occupant, was Leadin a-Aircraftsman Clifford Henry John Millar. His next-of-kin is Mr Peter John Millar. 31, Matlock Street, • Woolston, Christchurch, his father.. The cause of the accident is obscure. A court of inquiry will be held.
