H.M.S “DUNEDIN” SUNK

8.0.W. RUGBY, December 17. The Admiralty announces that His Majesty’s Dunedin has been torpedoed and sunk in the Atlantic, by a U-boat.

The Dunedin was a light cruiser, completed in 1919. She- served on the New Zealand station '1925/3'fr, and played a' distinguished part in the rescue work, after the Napier earthquake in February, 1931. (Rec. 10.0). LONDON, December 18.
