MAY HAVE REACHED GREYMOUTH

The possibility that red dust from the dust storms in Australia has reached Grey mouth is indicated by observations made by Mr Gordon Patterson, funeral director, of Albert Street. Mr Patterson told the “Argus last evening that he had seen a bsm reddish substance deposited on the marble and granite stones at his premises yesterday morning. It looued at first sight like rust, but it could be easily .removed with the moisture on the stones. The deposit showed uo verv clearly on the Rht lettering on the stones.______
