WEDDING

TAYLOR —WILDERMOTH. At Holy Trinity Church, Greymouth, on Saturday, the marriage was celebrated of Miss Maureen Wildermoth, of Westport daughter of Mrs G. Wildermoth of Reefton, to Peter Taylor, of Millerton, son of Mr and Mrs W. Ballantyne Taylor, Nelson Rev. P. Kirkham officiated and Mrs E. Parfitt was at the organ. The church was tastefully decorated with white lilies. The bride, who was escorted by Mr R. Wildermoth, wore a gown of ivory duchess satin, made fitting at the waist, with corsage front and full gathered bodice. The bodice was made with round Peter Pan col- - ;and iheav’Jy stitched embroidery in floral design finished the shoulder and waistline. liny satin covered buttons were arranged down the front of the bodice and the long sleeves were pointed over the hands. The full skirt fell in f°. a lons train, with matching embroidery. Her embroidered ivory tulle veil' fell to form a second train and was held in place with a coronet of orange blossom and lily of the valley, and was worn off the face. She carried a shower bouquet of cream roses and lily of the valley. The bridesmaid, Miss Lilian Cooper, wore a picture frock of silk net over taffeta, in the new rumour rose shade. The full swing skirt was cut in modulated tiers, finished with tiny frills, and the bodice was made with heart-shaped neckline, puff sleeves and gathered centre front from the waistline, which was defined with a narrow sash of matching velvet ribbon. She wore a shoulderlength rose veil, held in place with pink velvet flowers and carried a shower bouquet of pink roses. Mr S. Taylor was best man. The reception was held at Hark- • er’s tea rDoms, where the guests were received by the bride’s mother, wearing a navy and white ensemble and matching shoulder spray. The bridegroom’s mother also wore navy and white, with a shoulder spray of freesias.

For travelling, the bride chose a sheaf green riptide silk frock, embroidered with sequins, under a peschaniki swagger coat, a wineberry Rio straw hat and accessories.
