ENEMY NIGHT RAIDERS

In West of England (Rec. 8.40). LONDON, October 7. On Tuesday night German raiders appeared over western England and also over a south Wales town, where there were three persons killed. The blast from bombs that were dropped one hundred yards from a theatre in one south coast town sent the players staggering across the stage, but they immediately carried on. The audience also quickly settled down again. They watched the programme to the end.
