TURKEY AND GERMANY
CHROME AGREEMENT REPORTED. (Rec. 8.50). ANKARA. October 8. On the eve of signing is a TurkishGerman trade agreement. Turkey is reported to have agreed to sell chrome to Germany after January, 1943, when the Turkish chrome agreement with Britain expires. The German-controlled Paris radio stated that Britain and Russia have jointly presented a Note to Turkey concerning the activities of an alleged German Fifth Column in Turkey.
