LONDON, August 26. Pointing out that Germany has four-fifths of her striking power engaged against Russia, the Beaver brook newspapers are clamouring for an immediate British attack on a new front. “A second front must be created—and not only in the' air,’’ declares Frank Owen, editor of the “Evening Standard." “We must haul off the tiger from the body of cur friend, not by biting his tail, but by dealing violent, vicious blows against his body.” —“ln Print,” Sept. 24, 1941.
