J. W, new, of Hokitika, and ol Arahura Valley. The late Mrs Agnew was 59 years of age, and was a native of Arahura. who leaves a family of two daughters, Mrs Hendren (Christchurch), and Miss Agnew (Hokitika), and tw o sons, John (Arahura). and George (Hokitika). She is also survived by four sisters, Mis J. Pickering (Hokitika), mrs C. Weolev (Nelson), and Misses Rose and Mary McGuigan .(Arahura), and three brothers, Messrs Joseph McGuigan (Arahura), John McGuigan (North Island), and Edward McGuigan (Addington). The funeral takes place to-morrow afternoon, leaving St. Mary’s Church at 2.0 U o’clock. . . . Fitzgerald, and responded to bv Messrs W. H. Stopforth and I. Groufsky; “Absent Friends” proposed by Mr R. Quinn; Kindled .Clubs,” proposed by Mr M P. Moore, responded to by Mr T. Duffy, Greymouth; “The Press,’ proposed Iby "Mr B. Kempton, and responded to by Mr T. J. Keown. The chairman presented the trophies Tf°T during the year, as follow's: Club !Cup, Mr E."
