TENNIS

ST. COLUMBA CLUB. The St. Columba Tennis Club’s season was officially opened on Sunday in good v/eather. Theie was a large attendance of members and friends. Rev. Father J. Holohan, Patron of the Club, who declared the courts open and expressed the hope that all members would have an enjoyable season. He hit the first ball over the net and a Yankee tournament was then played, the winners being F. Saunders and Miss Meldrum. Afternoon tea was served by the women’s committee.
