LONDON, October 4. Russia notified Turkey that she can supply her with oil. This follows advice that Roumania is unable to arrange oil deliveries to Turkey. (Rec. 7.30). BATAVIA, October 4. Well informed circles believe that the Netherlands East. Indies will continue to supply Russia’s needs, aespite the Jananese_ spokesman, Mr. Ishii’s warning cabled on Friday, October 3rd. The Netherlands East Indies policy was clearly defined by M. Gerbrandv on August sth. last, when he said that although they would not maintain diplomatic relations with Russia, oil, rubber, tin, bauxite and other products of the Netherland East Indies , would be at the disposal of the Soviet.
