PRISONERS AND KILLED WELLINGTON, September 15. The following air casualties wore officially announced to-day:— Sergeant Bernard Allison Clark, missing on air operations. Wife, Mrs E. M. Clark, Auckland. Sergeant Alan Richard Harris, previously reported missing, now reclassified as missing, believed killed. in action. Father, Mr R. Harris, Invercargill. Sergeant William Henry Russell, previously reported missing, now reclassified as prisoner of war and wounded. Father, Mr J. H. Russell, Mataura. Sergeant Albert George Smith, previously reported missing, now reclassified as prisoner, and wounded. Mother, Mrs F. Smith, Wellington. Sergeant Mervyn Evans, previously reported missing, now reclassified as missing, believed killed. Father, Mr D. P. Evans, New Plymouth. Sergeant James Jackson, previously reported missing believed prisoner of war, now confirmed as prisoner. Mother, Mrs M. A. Jackson, Manga wai. Pilot Officer Douglas Stewart Johnston, previously reported missing, believed killed, death now officially presumed by Air Ministry. Father, Mr G. Johnston. Whangarei. Sergeant Owen Henry Glengarry, R.N.Z.A.F.. killed in an aircraft accident. Mother. Mrs H. T. Glengarry, Sawyers Bay, Otago. Pilot Officer Richard Scott Austin, R.N.Z.A.F., killed on air operations.
