OVER TEN MILLIONS In First Two Years TWO AND A-HALF MILLIONS DEAD FAus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.l (Rec. 11.40) NEW YORK, Sept. 15. The casualties of all of the nations engaged, after two years of the war, are over ‘ten millions The exact figure estimated is 10,324,000. This estimate is based on what the “New York Daily Mirror” describes as “a reliable international survey in which American Congressmen have collaborated with belligerent Embassies.” The foregoing total over two and a half millions of killed. The estimates are:— Killed: 2,520,000. Wounded, missing cr prisoners: 7,804,000. The figures for the casualties of the nations are as follows:—
