CLEAN RAGS WANTED. The Air Force is urgently in iieed of clean cotton rags for cleaning purposes. and a drive for these wul oe made to-morrow by the Girl Guides, who will call at every house in Blaketown, Cobden, and Greymouth from Cobden Bridge to South Beach mill. The Air Force will pay for cotton, soft woollen and locknit, but harsher materials of any small scraps of any material at all can be disposed of for pulping. Every penny made out of these rags goes into the Patriotic Fund, and the drive has been most successful in other parts of New Zealand. All you nave to do is to bundle up thos e clean rags (do not bother to wrap tnem, just tie firmly) and leave at. ybur gate by mid-day on Saturday, ready for the Guides when they call.
