The weather report anc};. forecast are as follows:—Forecast: Winds from a northerly quarter, fresh to strong in exposed positions, but mainly light or moderate 1 elsewhere. Seas (N.Z. waters): Rather rough north of East Cape, and south af Westport; elsewhere slight to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Fresh to strong northerly winds, and rather rough seas. Weather: Occasional rain in Westland, and .some scattered drizzle in the central provinces; elsewhere fair to fine at first, but scattered rain probably extending to Southland and Otago after about 24 hours; moderate to mild temperatures.
