FOOD FOR EIRE
U.S.A. Ships Available
WASHINGTON, May 20.
President Roosevelt disclosed that the United States has offered to sell or charter two ships to Eire, to supply food to the value of 500,000 dollars. The ships could carry much more food, indicating that Eire intended purchasing supplies. Mr. Roosevelt said that nothing has been done about supplying military equipment to Eire
