Captain Charles Laight Brett. Wife, Mrs. D. M. Brett, Whangarei. Captain Allan Thomas Bustard. Wife, Mrs. J. Bustard, Wanganui. Lieutenant Walter John Heslop. Wife, Mrs. L. Heslop, Hawera. Lieutenant Harold Benn Ward. Wife, Mrs. F. A. N. Ward, Sydney.
Second Lieutenant John Graham Heasley. Father, J. Heasley, fimaru. 1 i
It is believed that Second-Lieuten-ant Heasley is “Jock” Heasley, who was formerly a member of the Bank of New South Wales staff at Greymouth, and played as full back for the United Rugby Club.
Second Lieutenant Edward John Waters. Father, C. Waters, Auckland.
Gunner Leonard Blewett. Wife. Mrs. K. Blewett, New Plymouth.
Air Casualties
WELLINGTON, May 21. The following Air Force casualties were announced to-day:— Sergeant Eric Russell Lucas, missing on air operations. Father, F. A. Lucas, Waitara.
Sergeant Roderick William Finlayson, missing on air operations. Mother, Mrs. J. Finlayson, Dunedin. Sergeant Eric Francis Gannaway. Died in hospital from wounds received as the result of air operations. Mother, Mrs. M. E. Gannaway, Napier.
