HARIHARI NOTES
[Our Own Correspondent 1. Mr. W. E. Thiele, who has been a patient in the Westland Hospital, returned home last week. Mr. R. Adamson, who is at present a patient in the Westland Hospital, is progressing favourably. Miss B. Powley, of Reefton, is on a visit to her parents here. Mr. J. Willetts, driver for the N.Z. Road Service, will in the course of a few days be leaving for camp, having joined the Air Force. Mr. and Mrs. H. Diedrichs, of Kokatahi, are on a visit to relatives here. Mr. J. Holmes, paid a‘ visit to
Hondo's Ferry’ on Saturday. Mrs. G. Wright, paid, a visit to Greymouth on Friday. The Rev. Father Joyce, of the Ross Parish, will visit here on Saturday, and also Stinday next. Miss A. Morressy, of Wataroa, is here on a short visit..
Mr. B. George, Manager of the Inter-Wanganui Dairy Factory, lias recovered from his illness and has resumed work.
The wintry’ weather, which has been wot for the past week with a much colder atmosphere, yvill bring the milking season to a close about the end of the-month.
Although rugby is well advanced in other parts of the West Coast, the South Westland Clubs?have not held meetings yet.
