NOTES The Harbour Board last evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 23ft 4in The Hokitika saWs to-day for Hokitika. The Holmlea is due on Friday to load coal for Picton. The Karu, from Wellington with cargo, berthed on Saturday. She will load timber for Wellington. The Kaimiro has completed loading coal and timber for Auckland, and will sail when bar conditions are favourable. Th e Seagull is loading for Okuru and Jackson Bay, and will sail when conditions moderate The Pukeko sailed on Saturday afternoon with coal for Miramar. The Kartigi has completed loading coal for Wellington, and will sail when conditions permit. The Alexander sailed yesterday for Waikato Heads.
The Port Waikato is expected today to load timber for Waikato Heads.
The Titoki is to leave Picton this evening for Greymouth, and is due to-morrow evening, to load coal for Nels.on.
