NOTES The Harbour Board last evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 24ft 10in. The Pukeko is expected on Saturday from Wellington, to load coal lor return. The Gabriella is loading coal for Napier and timber for Wellington. She is to sail to-morrow. The Kartigi is loading coal for Wellington, and will sail this morning. The Hokitika sailed yesterday morning for Hokitika, to load timber for Wellington. The Karu is due to-dav, with cargo from Wellington, and will load timber for Miramar and Wellington. The Alexander is due to-morrow to load timber for Port Waikato. The Holmlea is due to-morrow, to load for Castlecliff,

Th P Seagull is expected from Okuru to-day, to load for Jackson Bay. The return of the Gael from Wellington has been further delayed and she is now expeeted to sail for Hokitika cn Friday, April 18.
