A.Tizac Broadcast The National Patriotic Board at Wellington has advised the Westland Patriotic Council of the particulars of the. Hollywood broadcast of English artists on Anzac night. The Gov-ernor-General will also speak over the air to the people of the Dominion.. - Patriotic Committees have been asked to co-operate in the localities throughout the province, and arrange parties' at radios taking up collections for the fund,South of the Teremakau, where the Queen Carnival is in progress, the candidate’s committees have been invited to make the most of the occasion by raising funds for their candidate.
The Greymouth committee has been asked to make the necessary arrangements with the Broadcasting Station, and Greymouth, Reefton and Hokitika will be centres for the receipt of contributions, and announcements through the Broadcasting Station. At Hokitika, extra telephones will be installed to deal with the country messages.
