FEW ON MONDAY

Two Downed [British Official Wireless] RUGBY, April 7. A few single l 'enemy aircraft were flown near our coasts in daylight on Monday, states an Air Ministry communique, but no bombs were dropped on land. Two enemy planes were destroyed by our fighters without loss on Monday morning. R.A.F. fighters destroyed a Dornier 17 off the Suffolk coast,i and a Messerschmitt 109 was shot down by R.A.F. fighters of the Coastal Command, near Cap Griz Nez. - ULSTER RAIDED. LONDON, April 8. Enemy planes made a raid in Northern Ireland. The damage was not serious.
