Two Towns Attacked [Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.' (Received February 24, 11.53 p.m.) LONDON, February 24. On Sunday, for the second night in succession, raiders attacked a north-east coastal town. Th e raid lasted for,hours. Bombs demolished houses, causing some deaths here. Another north-east coast town was also attacked, and deaths were caused. . Th e ground defences and nigm fighter planes severely harassed the raiders. THE OFFICIAL ACCOUNT (Received February 24, 11.53 p.m.) LONDON, February 24. The Air Ministry, in a communique, states: Enemy air activity over Britain was nor heavy on Sundr/ night. It soon ceased. Bombs fell on a town on the- northeast coast of England, and also at a number of scattered points near the east coast. Bombs were also dropped in th e London area. Little damage resulted, and few casualties.
