Greymouth Exports LARGE INCREASE IN TIMBER The return of exports from the port of Greymouth for the period ended February' 1, 1941, show that 798 tons of coal more than lhe corresponding month last year, was exported, total figures, for both months being 14,145 tons in 1941 and 13,347 tons in '1940. A feature of the return however, is the large increase in the amount of timber exported during the month, only 1,246,435 superficial feet of timber being exported last year, while the figure for 1941 is 3,706,033 feet, an increase of 2,459,598 super, feet. The figures are as follows:—
