BRITISH CONVOY
Attacked in Atlantic ENEMY ALLEGES 13 SHIPS SUNK. LONDON, February 13. It is admitted in London that German surface ships attacked a convoy in th? Atlantic, whereof the Germans claim to have sunk thirteen. The Berlin spokesman said: This was a large-scale operation by, surface ships, submarines and planes. The vessels sunk included several big liners. The convoy was completely scattered. MONTREAL, Fejoruaryy 13.
The Berlin radio claimed that German warships attacked a Br.tish convoy west of Portugal, and sank 13 large armed merchantmen, heavily laden with war supplies.
