RUN OVER BY VAN PALMERSTON NORTH, Feb. 7. A child, not yet two years of age, a daughter of Mr and Mrs Wightman, of Bulls, died in the hospital from injuries which she suffered on Foxton beach when she was run over by a van backing out of a right-o’-way. The driver was watching one side, and was unaware of the child’s presence on the other side. VAN KILLS GIRL, AUCKLAND, February 7. Knocked down by a motor van outside of her home in. Ellerslie. a schoolgirl received injuries which later proved fatal. The victim was June Annetta Edlin, aged 7.
