TRADE WAR
After the War ? (Received February 7, 11.15 p.m.) . CHICAGO, February 6. The U.S. Under-Secretary for Commerce, Mr Wayne Chatfield Taylor, in a speech, suggested the possible necessity of forming a world trade bloc of democracies to resist totalitarian economic invasion. He said that if policies of the Axl s Bowers should force action, such a bloc would offer more resources and a higher standard of living than any competitive system.
