A report from the correspondent of the New York “’limes” at Vichy says: “AH of the eye-witnesses, from Northern France to Vichy ’in the south, agree that the Germans are now engaged in Intense military activity, which apparently is in preparation' for an early attempt at invasion.” The correspondent adds: “February weather is the most favourable for Channel currents.”
