INDIAN RECRUITING
NOT SATISFACTORY, ALLAHABAD January 19. Sir Maurice Hallett, addressing the Provincial War Committee, revealed disappointing results in a campaign for the recruitment of officers toremergency commissions. He declared many were unwilling to serve overseas. Only a small percentage of those applying were considered suitable.
