The death has been announced from London of Mr A. G. Mac Donnell, at th e age of 45 years. Mr MacDonnell, who served in the Great War, was an author and a historian, being an authority on Napoleon. In recent months, Mr MacDonnoll h?.i become well-known as a 8.8. C. commentator.

The death occurred, suddenly at Christchurch on Friday of Mrs Mary Jane Bufton, at the ag e of 8J years. Deceased, who had been a res’dant of Greymouth for many years, leaves three daughters.
