-120 BREMEN CASUALTIES BERLIN, January 7. An edition of the Bremen newspaper “Bremer Nachrichten ’ confirmed the British reports that three extremely heavy British raids occurred last week-end. Nineteen are killed and 101 wounded, said the newspaper. The weather was to e advantage of the R.A.F., consequent y factories and warehouses were hit and large scale fires caused; also considerable destruction in many parts oi the city. The newspaper concludes with an appeal to the inhabitants, “Bremen to-day is fighting in the front lines, and demands sacrifices and courage.
