[Our Own Correspondent] Mr W. McCullum has returned to the Hill after spending a holiday at Christchurch. Mr V. Moore has returned after a holiday visit to Wellington. Mr Le Comte, who has been a patient in the Westport. Hospital for a considerable time, spent Christmas at h’s home with his wife and family. Mr F. Riddell's local rink was run-ner-up in the Westport bowling tournament. The mine commenced work on Monday after the holidays. Mrs R. McGavin has returned home after spending a holiday on the Hill. Mr and Mrs J. Russell and Mr J. Russell, junr. and Miss L. Russell have returned from Wellington, where they spent the holidays. Messrs J l . Fox, F. Bradley F. Plummer, who have been visiting Auckland, have returned home. Mr and Mrs H. Milligan and Mr J. Milligan have returned to Millerton after spending a holiday at Greymouth. Residents who are back from Christchurch after a holiday sojourn, include Mr and Mrs G. Gilmour, Mr W. Gilmour, Mr Jas. Stewart. Mr and Mrs D. McMillan, Mrs J. Douglas, Mr and Mrs R. Stewart, Mr and Mrs T. Birchlield, Mr and Mrs A. Stewart, Mr A. Moston, Mr and Mrs J. Orman, Mrs W. Boswell Mi’ T. White. Mr and Mrs G. White,' and Master J While.
Visiters to Westport who have returned are Mr and Mrs Pollock, Mrs A. Murray and Miss Murray. Mr and Mrs G. Dodds, Mr and Mrs J’. Blyth. Mr and Mrs D. Closs and Mrs W. Cioss have returned to the Hill after a trip to Wellington. Mr and Mrs J. Boswell and family are home after spending a holidav at Takaka. Mr and Mrs F. Cooper, Messrs B. and Ben Cooper,, and. Miss Vera Cooper have returned after spending a holiday al. Wellington. Mr R. Closs is visiting Greymouth. Mr R. McGregor, of Westport, visited here during the week. Mrs A. Dellaway, of Wellington, is spending a holiday on the Hill. Mr J. Orman, junr., left last weekend for Christchurch. Mr F. Cooper of West port, is spending a holiday bn the Hill. Mr and Mrs 'l'. Jack, of Whangarei, who have been visiting Millerton, left during the week-end on their return. lion. W. 11. and Mrs Mclntyre and T\ f A. Mclntyre left at the week-end for Wellington. Mr and Mrs J. Maddinson, of Millerton, are visiting Greymouth. Mr G. Orman is visiting Greymouth. It was with regret that the people of Millerton received the news of the , death of Mr Andrew Nicholl, who had
taken a keen interest in the Soccer football code, and had also been committee member of the Medical Association for a considerable period. His abilities as a bowler will be missed by the local Bowling Chib, the tale Mr Nicholl. having held the president s position in the Buller Centre. Th.* deepest sympathy of Millerton people is extended to his wife and family m their sad bereavement.
