Among uie newcomers to the series cast are Aldrich Bowker, Edgar Edwards, rcenie Kiano and Charlotte Wymers, and the lastmentioned introduces an entirely new factor to tne background oi. Nancy's life, for she represents m coming of romance to Nancy’s lather, who is, as series fans win i emember, a widower. At tne end of the latest film, Nancy has not yet acquired a stepmother but it looks very much as if that will happen soon. In the new picture, Nancy and her boy friend succeed not only in exonerating a close friend of Nancy's father from suspicion oi having committed a murder, lor which he has been arrested, but they pin th e guilt on a pair of men wno are the real culprits. Before this happy consummation, Nancy displays her usual ingenuity and perspicacity, and she and her boy friend have their courage severely tested when one of the villains, who is an aviator, take s them up in his plane and then bails out, leaving the two youngsters apparently helpless in the face of sure death. Hut Ted Nickerson, the boy Iriend, although he has never been alort m a plane before, has read a book on av.ation, and they emerge unscathed, ready for new adventures. Another helper on the clue hunt is Willie Best, Negro comedian, who, in spite of his talent for “resting,” manages to unearth (literally) some valuable evidence which leads to the settlement of the puzzling murder mystery.

“MILLION DOLLAR LEGS.” Paramount’s “Million Dollar Legs,” the most hilarious campus comedy to hit this town in many a Season, and featuring such bright new talented youngsters as Betty Grable Jackie Coogan, Joyce Mathews, ’ Donald O’Connor, Larry Crabbe and John Hartley, will commence at the Opera House to-mor-row (Wednesday). Differing radically from any other college comedy ever filmed, “Million Dollar Legs unfolds the students’ revolt against a benevolent but stubborn pni anthropist who does not permit the college to have a crew. Determined to have a new shell for their newly formed crew, the students swap their blongings, enough to bring a hundred dollars and bet the bankroll on a long shot. The hilarity of the situation hardly subsides before another funny occurrence takes place. Although many of the members are comparatively newcomers, they show startling ability both at straight entertainment and comedy.

Ingrid Bergman, the beautiful young Continental actress is introduced the first time in the new David O. Selznick production, “Intermezzo, a Love story,’’ in which she is costarred with Leslie Howard and Edna Best. This new picture, a dramatic love story set in modern-day Europe, concerns a world-famous violinist who returns home to Stockholm to rejoin his wife and children after a two years' absence, during which he became the sensation of Continental Europe. Hoping to settle down to a quiet existence and to renew acquaintance with his family, he find s himself restless and anxious

for a life of youth and gaiety. He urges his wife to accompany him on a second honeymoon to tne romantic places winch he visited on tour, but she explains that her • roocs are in her home and that her children need her love and guidance. When he meets the lovely young pianist who teaches his daughter, he is strangely attracted to ner. He cannot resist her charms and he goes ulf on another tour with her, leaving his family behind.
