POSING AS POLES

SUSPICIOUS MEN IN AUSTRALIA. SYDNEY, January 7. The Consul-General for Poland, M. L. Noskowski, has given the Minister of External Affairs (Sir Frederick Stewart) the names of five men whom he considers are “potential Fifth Columnists.’’ M. Noskowski said that the men were posing as Poles, and were working in munition factories. On M. Noskowski’s information, military intelligence officers are inquiring into their activities.
