Hungary is reported to have begun calling up thousands of troops, and to be planning a total mobilisation by January 15. A decree has been issuer authorising for the army an increase in expenses for Italian defences along the Alpine frontier with France, Switzerland, Germany and Yugoslavia. It also provides for the creation of a Commission to revise the expenses on the basis of the wartime price of materials. (Received Jan. 1, 1 p.m.) BELGRADE, December 3. The Yugo-slav Ministry of the Interior has decreed the dissolution ol trade unions and is forbidding further activities.
